Please define barbarian. I suppose you don't mean wearing bearskins and hauling a big sword around with you all the time :)
A while ago he asked me what he should have printed on my business cards. I said 'Wizard'. I read books which nobody else understand. Then I do something which nobody understands. After that the computer does something which nobody understands. When asked, I say things about the results which nobody understand. But everybody expects miracles from me on a regular basis. Looks to me like the classical definition of a wizard.
Meaning he's unshaven and speaks what sounds like gibberish to "civilized" people? ("Barbarian" was a Greek pun for beard - bárbaros - and the way a language you don't understand sounds like "bar bar bar bar.")

I know, but I was thinking more of the movie type barbarian, like Conan the Republican, Governor of California :)

Actually, I prefer to code naked. I gave up the sword long ago, and modernized my arsenal. I no longer have to wait for enemy hoards to actually knock on my door.

So what Visual Studio Add Ons do people use? I'm using Visual Studio 2010 Premium if that makes a difference. TIA - Jeff.

I have several thousand rounds of ammo at the ready, and all of my magazines are full I can take out several hundred hoard participants without having to reload a magazine (eight 30-round, six 20-round, eight 7-round, and five 12-round, and three 25-round). Let's see... that makes 551 dead or wounded, and I have a speed loader for the AR that lets me fill a 30 round magazine in about 10 seconds. It'll take them that long to climb over the dead/dying that are stacked at the door. I'm not worried (and I have a Bowie knife, but I only use it to cut off ears for my trophy cabinet).

Vi(m) has a steep learning curve[^].
Given the nature of curve functions and the premise that time is normally plotted on the x-axis, a steep learning curve should imply that you learn quickly.

Jystad, 2001Then pray that the leader of the hordes never met my drill instructors :) Otherwise they would not come one after another and from several sides and even do something as cowardly as using any available cover. Your odds would rise if you have your own horde inside your castle, but even then tend sieges to be short, brutal and to the defender's disadvantage with modern weapons. And let's not get totally unfair and think about some artillery or air support.

I still have no clue what it does; it fails to install on any Express Edition. Can't remember what exactly bombs, but it does. :doh: (not sad as I don't know what I'm missing out on)

You can't add anything to the express editions. I remember reading an email chain (I believe from the developer of testdriven.net) where he had a long drawn out discussion with MS over why you can't put things into express editions.

I guess you're right. Express doesn't offer the Tools/AddInManager menu item which Pro does. If so, 1. I can stop trying 2. I wish the installer would make that clear. Thanks. :)
