Right, and if that fails, you can reroute flow control through the main deflector and divert the extra quantum flux from the replicators.

Actually if you're using the Zergonian model ZX-104678A then you can't do that! re-routing the flow will cause a transient temporal vortex, interrupting the bose-einstein condensate flux, and resulting in an inverted feedback loop. Quantum instability at this point will cause abnormal superpositions which prevent the replicators from binding at their E1 junction points. Please take a look at Appendix D, section IV, where it describes how to properly transition between the newer models and the older ZX-10XXXXX series.

Nah, this not gonna work with the Correlian class heavy frigates’ wrap drives. You will get yourself and your crew stuck in the middle of the wormhole during the hyperspace jump and probably the Captain will have you cleaning the vacuum toilets for the next couple of eons.

As I read through the posts in The Lounge, I sometimes stumble upon a serious question and most of the answers given by members are off topic or plain nonsense. What's up with that? ;P

Hey, that may have applied "a long, long time ago," but these days we've progressed well beyond that Correlian space-junk. That's like pointing out transistor problems, when those went obsolete as soon as quantum optics were invented!

Liquid Nitrogen was recently strongly out rated by the Bacon.

Duct tape solves one class of problems. There is another whole class of problems that needs WD-40 rather than duct tape.

Hey, that may have applied "a long, long time ago," but these days we've progressed well beyond that Correlian space-junk. That's like pointing out transistor problems, when those went obsolete as soon as quantum optics were invented!

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in?

These new paper build and duct taped frigates and battle cruisers don’t stand a chance against the good old Correlian stuff, they don’t make them like they used anymore. Full with cheap electronic knick-knacks, the pilot is talking with the computer instead of flying the ship, the gunners are pushing buttons instead of aiming the railguns, shields instead of armor, the Captain is getting orders from the computers instead of giving orders to his boys and the whole thing build in the New Beijing orbit shipyards from a cheap unmodified titanium loaded with a software from New New Delhi. Nah, give me old Correlian heavy frigate gimme a pilot from New New Jersey, mechanics from New Berlin and gunners from New Moscow and if I face even this new Allah Akbar class battle ships I’m gonna kick his fat ass from here to Omega Prime. Edit: Fixed plenty of typos and even more still there. :-D

The fight between bacon, liquid nitrogen and duct tape Bacon vs Liquid Nitrogen[^] Winner - Liquid Nitrogen Duct tape vs Liquid nitrogen[^] Winner - Liquid Nitrogen So Liquid nitrogen beats both bacon and Duct tape. My vote goes to Liquid Nitrogen.
