Who would have ever made a phone that could actually ring someone? Amazing! I hear the recent IPhones still don't have the ability to ring people.

Why limit the discussion to browsers that can't keep up with the innovation of the best? I don't like browser extensions, anyway; all they do is slow the browser down. Opera "widgets" can all be installed as stand-alone applets, so you don't have to wait for them all to load, every time you start the browser. I dare say that that's yet another innovative advance that the other browser producers will eventually copy.

http://obamacaretruth.org/Basically, if the browser team hasn't the brains to emulate Opera's best functions, then you need to get addons to fill in those gaping holes. The most obvious is Mouse Gestures. It just sucks that addons will never be as good as building gestures into the core browser code. That said, the various emulation addons can sometimes add nice tweaks that Opera would do well to pull in, too. Like the visible lines to show a gesture in progress. For Firefox & Thunderbird, I find Rikaichan invaluable for Japanese translation. I just wish there was something like it for Chrome and Opera.

What Kristian said, and also Flashblock. Flashblock gets a little annoying at times, but once you add all the most crucial sites to its whitelist, it's very, very, VERY lovely. At least to me. :p
