Apparently the religious minded univoter has struck, but is too cowardly to admit it...

I really can't accept the nativity as described in Luke and Mathew as anything other than a nice tale with little or no verifiable facts in it. (Though it's responsible for some rather beautiful music.) At the same time, I see no need to run around insulting people who, for one reason or another, believe it to be true. Kind of like telling a parent that his kid is ugly. It serves no purpose but to hurt feelings.

"I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth. I have observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer." ~ Benj Franklin

Remember... These are the same fools who thought genetic engineering included having a striped goat result from goats mating beside a striped tree... (Genesis Chapter 30 for those who are curious)

Is that any different from what a lot of cultures were coming up with in their first fumblings at trying to arrive at cause and effect? To call someone a fool for attempting to come up with an explanation and arriving at one that, while wrong, was still being promulgated by scientists in the USSR in the 1930's - without any belief in a supreme being attached to it - seems a bit misguided. By the way, I countered the unibomber. Your post in no longer rated as unfit for discriminating readers. ;)

Would an angel emit "man fat"? Or "Angel fat" which could be anything. It is a misnomer to refer to ejaculate as "man fat" BTW. Typically, semen (one average ejaculate, approximately one teaspoon) contains : 150 mg of protein, 11 mg of carbohydrates, 6 mg fat, 3 mg cholesterol, 7% US RDA potassium and 3% US RDA copper and zinc. There are trace amounts of several vitamins in a regular, healthy, ejaculation-full of semen. In fact, the amount of vitamin C is about the same as in an orange. Very low fat content: may I suggest you try the term "man protein" instead?

        Essential Ingredient[^]

Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

But then it's easy to insult Christians, they only turn the other cheek.
