:thumbsup:Nice. I'll draw up a poster as soon as I've finished up with my aggressive leaflet campaign for the Campaign for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society.

More if you want: http://www.google.com/search?q=Jos%C3%A9+Reyes+Fern%C3%A1ndez+jamon&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a[^] And yes, this will have been hyped, but the fact is it did happen. Why do WE not have the right to protect OUR culture?

It might well be a full, fair reporting of the facts but I doubt it. It more than likely has a grain of truth in it, but without being in the room when it happened we just can't know exactly what happened, and the context is important.

Fact? No, you weren't there, you don't know what happened. This World War Two Bomber Found on the Moon[^] was reported in British version of the National Enquirer (with added breasts). Is it true? Any source needs to be evaluated for trustworthiness, my bullshit-o-meter is off the scale on this one.

Where did I say this (are you Spanish BTW)? Point to the exact point in my post. My main beef was with the demonising a particular group, and the inevitable ill-thought out reaction that this has provoked on the Internet. I'd argue that one of the main backbones of European thought is a rational and critical perspective. If you we do not adhere to that we are betraying our culture.

My favourite comment on the article: "This is so STUPID, shoot the little bastard. Why should the teacher endure this kind of shit?"

"I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth. I have observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer." ~ Benj Franklin

as this is Spain, surely the fact that for half the last 1500 years it was a Muslim country should be taken into consideration?

So its not only the UK which is ludicrously PC. France Belgium and Holland have got it right banning the veil. We should all do the same. And as for porc, tell me, do plugs in sinks offend the poor lad aswell? After all it is forbidden in the Koran to wash in standing water.
