To understand what is happening, first see this [^] and continue down the thread :-).

reminds me of the old schoolyard joke about how to keep an idiot busy: write "turn over" on both sides of a piece of paper and give it to the idiot.

Go to Google and search for "f# recursion" (without quotes). Then keep clicking "Did you mean: f# recursion".

You guys must have set the 'enable_recursion' flag, because I don't get the 'Did you mean'...

Its odd, it seems to happen with a large number of "X# recursion" where X is any single letter it doesn't happen with z# or p#...if it was intentional i'd have expected "vb recusion" and only c# f# and possibly j# to do this... I'd imagine this is a bug rather than an intentional thing...

It's the "#". Try C# and you get the same thing. VB recursion asks if you meant "vba recursion" but behaves normally afterwards. C++ recursion, js recursion and python recursion all return hits without the "did you mean..." But that's funny. Wonder how many people have just clicked and clicked and clicked............. :)

Everybody SHUT UP until I finish my coffee...
