Got my Omnia

Got my Samsung Omnia with Windows Phone 7 and it's fantastic. What a great phone it is.
I'm not a stalker, I just know things. Oh by the way, you're out of milk.

You're not. All in all, getting used to it has been incredibly easy.

Can you actually use it to make phone calls?

Yeah, there's just one tiny bit that I would change about it(the OS). That is make it a litlle more shiny as in more sex appeal. That would make it really cool. But overall I like it better than most of the icons out there(no pun intended or was there? who knows...) :)

If it's anything like the Samsung Focus, you can make phone calls but with a little more effort than with a normal phone. Level of difficulty is about the same as for an iPhone.

I need to wait for them to get to Verizon. :( Still not sure if I want WP7 or iPhone. I have apps in both stores right now, so either would be helpful.

They can make phone calls? I actually have used it to make calls, so yes it can.

Seems to be fairly similar as it's the same phone - the Omnia in the UK is marketed as Focus in the States. The AMOLED screen is superb.

Yeah, the screen is awesome :-) My phone did crash/reboot 6-7 times in the 2 months or so that I've had it so far. So watch out for that.

Ok, I wonder if it might be my battery. Although I am hoping it's a software problem because then the next update will fix it.

Could be. I've had some "happiness" with a nokia E71. It crashed randomly. Most times imediately after I finished a phone call. It was a work phone. So when I got my hands on a new battery I switched it. No luck. Changed the phone completely. It was new. The service guys couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. It wasn't the software either. Some "crippled pice of hardware on the circuits" my best guess. Hope it's not the same for you especially if it's your personal phone. :)
