I'm sitting here at work drinkning a Stella Artois.

Nah, Peroni isn't crap (isn't my favourite, I like much more DAB). :)

I find Peroni quite tasteless, personally. Still far better than Stella, though. However, help is at hand[^]. I can personally recommend the Mixed Belgian Beer Styles[^] and A Cidery Dozen[^] packs - I had a delivery of them a couple of weeks back. With Valentine's Day approaching, One for the Lovers[^] made me chuckle: It's the time of year when those young at heart have thoughts turning to LOVE. Why not satisfy your loved ones ardour (or your own,if that's what turns you on) with our special range of Valentine day themed ales. Raise a glass and raise a titter with this 12 bottle range of British and Belgian beers. The bottles are, Daleside Old Leg Over, Kelham Island Easy Rider, Skinners Cornish Knocker, Durham Temptation, Hoegaarden Rose, Hoegaarden Forbidden Fruit, Slap & Tickle, Cairngorm Wild Cat, Rumpy Pumpy, Marstons Owd Rodger, Old Gee Spot and Hambleton Stud Bitter. Make of that what you will...

Is there still a Belgium? Will anyone miss it, if not? How about Lichtenstein? Are they still around? It's the ones you never hear about that bear watching; they're probably up to something nefarious.

Dominion Bitter is still donkeys piss (or at least it was 20 odd years ago, the last time I tried it). Beer tasting medals are like wine tasting medals, completely worthless. Some of the worst wines I have tasted were awarded all sorts of medals and they were still crap. In 197... counts backwards on his fingers oh bugger a long time ago I drank a couple of Maoris under the table in Wellington, having just arrived from Sydney, a few months later I couldn't do it having acclimatised to the crap beer.
