What Rajesh meant by saying "behind" is that the perpetrators or the one who masterminded the attack, or to the group for this attack.

These bastards are definitely not "masterminds".

We have choices here, but I'd think that something like 95% of the vehicles are manual for several reasons: 1. Many cars are underpowered - there are plenty of hatchbacks and small cars. Putting in an auto will further worsen it. 2. People here are very demanding when it comes to fuel efficiency. A manual is slightly more fuel efficient. 3. It's been like this for so many years, so people frown upon automatic. 4. Finally, about 41% of my brain is dedicated to make accurate decisions on this front -- I know which gear should the car/bike/earthmover/tank be running on, at any given time. I don't want a computer to decide that. :)

It's a grammarian rule, so that's not in the least surprising. AIRI, it was invented by a Scot, and no-one ever understands a word they say, anyway[^]. It's like the *LAWS* of coding and coding style, where people find something that fits what they're working on at the moment, and declare that everyone else should do exactly the same in every piece of code they write (but then they change their minds and do it differently themselves, later). Why does the word "factory" come to mind?

What interests me about this[^] is the first line. "President Dmitry Medvedev has vowed to track down and punish those behind an apparent suicide bomb attack at Moscow's Domodedovo airport that killed 35 people and injured more than 100." How do you punish a dead person?
