I'm not sure who (Tom Arnold?) said something along the lines of "America: the only country where even poor people are fat".

I disagree. In most developing/developed countries, fat people are usually poor people. Poor people buy cheap carbs for eating. Doing a well balanced diet with proteins is much more expensive. Also poor people don't have the time and the money to stay fit going to a gym.

Yes, there are skinny people here. ;P back at you. Don't know what gives the world the impression that ALL Americans are fat? True, our welfare recipients eat better than some and there are a lot of fat "poor" people but I think that might be true every where in the world....wouldn't you say? The system is not perfect but what system is...what country is for that matter?

Especially posting at this time of day. But, a bloke in the Pub asked me what the Soccer score was? I said "You're American aren't you" He replied "Oh, you guessed because I called it Soccer?" I said "No, its because your the fattest F*** I've ever seen"

You English are really obsessed with the Americans. But then...the Americans are obsessed with themselves. Ok. I'm so getting flamed for this! :)
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it. My latest tip/trick

Percentage of obesity amongst the people I reckon.

I would like to see the statistics to prove that statement. I'm not saying your wrong...you very well could be right.

Probably not the most accurate source, but wikipedia has this here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obesity_in_the_United_States[^] "While many industrialized countries have experienced similar increases, obesity rates in the United States are among the highest in the world with as of 2007 74.1 % of the adults being overweight or obese.[2]" The 74% seems high but that includes over weight people as well as obese people. And here's another link that's just for obese people: http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/hea_obe-health-obesity[^] The US is ranked highest with a 30% obesity rate.

Yes there are! What there never appears to be is normal people. It's as if there is a law: "If you are fat and dieting, stay indoors. If you are skinny and eating lots, stay indoors." I just haven't seen anyone in the middle ground on any of my trips there...
Real men don't use instructions. They are only the manufacturers opinion on how to put the thing together.

Very Un-PC, very old and very funny. Now for balance we should let our cousins across the water let rip about English stereotypes such as the Upper Class Twit and warm beer.

I know you're second person on this thread who can't spell 'you're', but it's just too much for me to take.
