Actually, there is a workaround to get that working on a per-page basis in .Net 4. However, seeing as this is the Lounge, I'm not going to tell you. Neener neener neener!

You're right, this is not acceptable. Look at the top of the page. Please do not post programming questions here.

I think gardening could be acceptable especially for somebody who is frustrated with programming.

Luckily, he didn't. He posted a programming rant here. Now, if you wanted to campaign against the torrent of "Why XXX Soxxorz today" posts, then that's a different thing! Iain.

He was fishing for an answer. It's like saying

Doesn't work then expecting somebody to point out that its because...

Agreed, at least partly - but he'd already found one himself (of course the experts here will know far better ones), and I've seen marginally more subtle ones before too. I'm too lazy to do a search, but I remember one a week or two ago about Silverlight features missing on WP7, with various replies about how you can casually work around it. Most folk on that thread were CP-MVPs. Iain.

No it won't. You need to be able to debug.

You're right. That's not acceptable. I suggest that you form a pressure group and picket Microsoft's embassy.
