I was chatting with my sister on Skype. When it was time to say goodbye, i type 'exit' then pressed 'enter'. My sister replied "what do you mean". I did not know what to tell her.

Back when I used to play EverQuest, on my way to work I would try to press the "sense heading" button because my car didn't have a compass.
He said, "Boy I'm just old and lonely, But thank you for your concern, Here's wishing you a Happy New Year." I wished him one back in return.

A little bit confused is possible... Everyone knows that in order to exit Skype first you must destroy all the instances of the different running threads out there and that this can only be achieved if you press like mad: "I wannna end this call and this program!!!!". I've found that after doing that you can terminate completely skype... I mean that it even is difficult to get access to your contacts as curiously they get vanished somehow... But don't mind, you will be able to do the same until you are without any contact... :rolleyes:

At least you didn't compiled the skype window. Looks like you need to spare some time for your family too. Try to stay out of your system on weekends.

Sometimes when I write sentences I end them in semi-colons instead of periods;
Need custom software developed? I do custom programming based primarily on MS tools with an emphasis on C# development and consulting. I also do Android Programming as I find it a refreshing break from the MS. "And they, since they Were not the one dead, turned to their affairs" -- Robert Frost

In high school I was deep into programming the DEC PDP-8 in assembler and machine code. The PDP-8 used octal for numeric notation. In the evenings I was working at the local movie theater. One slow night I went inot the auditorium and counted up the patrons. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11. Later out in the lobby, 2 patrons left. The candy girl girl asked how many were left. If everyone left, we could go home early. I said, there were 11, 2 left, that leaves 7. "What school did you go to?" she asked. It was then I realized I had reverted to octal math.

I still remember running the toggle switches to put in the RIM Loader. Thank the gods for the plastic paddles, as most PDP techs had calluses from flipping the metal switches on the other models. Hand-load the RIM Loader, then read in the BIN loader paper tape, then load the FOCAL interpreter tape, then start programming (for the high-level types, or SABRE assembler for the geeks!)

Personally, I prefer [ctrl]+d ... much quicker, no extra entries in the .bash_history file. Works in the shell, MySQL, telnet, etc. ...

We actually had access to a TSS-8 running on the PDP-8/I and had two ASR-33 teletypes we modemed in at a blistering 10 CPS (110 baud). Every once in a while we got out the center where the machine was housed. And occasionally we had to do the RIM/BIN so the machine knew enough to start reading the highspeed papertape (no DECtapes).
