...he was mowing the lawn and heard a rattle. He bent down a grasped it by the side to turn it over... ...and cut two fingers off. The ends are now pinned back on, and some skin grafts have taken care of the missing bits. Its almost Darwin Award material this! :) What a dick!

I knew a guy who stuck his hand in an extractor fan, fortunately there was just a cut.

I don't think it stands much of a chance; that lawn would be mowed down. /ravi

now that just sounds painful. one question though. ok i get everything was crushed pretty much but how did his dang skull make it through without crushing?I mean a 5 inch hole. that would be a tiny dang head to get through that in one piece.

He obviously did not read the sign on the mower telling him not to put hands or feet under the mower. Some guy tried to mow his hedge and after cutting his fingers off sued and won. Thus the note that use to say feet now says hands and feet.

Clean out your ears with a sharpened pencil. You may possibly sue both the pencil and the sharpener manufacturer. :) LEGAL DISCLAIMER Do not attempt this at home on your own. Only a trained professional should be cleaning your ears.

Almost a bad a guy who I knew. He collected the autumn leave into a pile at the bottom of his garden. Dowsed the new formed pile with petrol and went back to the house to get the matches... When he eventually arrived to work, his face and hand were still rad with flash burns.

Until then (1979 - I was young and innocent ;P ), I thought Project Managers might have a (well-hidden) brain cell... One Monday morning, PM comes in on crutches, one foot swathed in huge bandages. Turns out he was mowing in bare feet, and pulled the mower back... Cheers, Peter
