Member Profile popup [modified]

...is now available via your settings. Choose 'My Settings' under your name, go to Forums, check the "Show member profile popups" We originally had a delay in the popup using the excellent hoverIntent jQuery plugin but that was showing problems using jQuery 1.4.2. We can't move to 1.5.1 because of a jQuery bug in that version, so we had to pull hoverIntent, hence the instant loading. Matthew worked out the jQuery 1.4.2 issue and we're now on jQuery 1.5.1 with hoverIntent. The popup now has a 250ms delay going on and off, so a slightly more relaxed experience. We will also add more stuff to the popup - rep points, levels etc. For now it's just a little something we cooked up a few months ago as part of a larger project that I thought should see the light of day. Though, in a slightly more restrained and less obtrusive manner than when I released it an hour ago.

I'm not sure if you are already aware of this, but I just noticed that the rep points displayed in the popup are changing between 2-3 values each time it is displayed. In your popup it changes between 166,984 and 166,985, but your profile says 167,012.

Typical accountant. Blaming the cache.
I'm not a stalker, I just know things. Oh by the way, you're out of milk.
Forgive your enemies - it messes with their heads

To add a touch of humanity to this cold, faceless internet, this cold, vast, harsh souless emptyness that we toil in, day in, day, out, wondering if there truly are others out there or whether we're simply just crying into the void, alone.
