Article Search: Line Arrow
-
I think we need a "Were is that article?" forum. So, apologies for posting this here. A week or two back someone posted an article showing how to draw arrow heads on lines. I even read the article but for the life of me no matter how many phrase combinations I try in the CP search I cannot find it. I also cannot remember whether it was C++, C# or [Insert Hated Language Name Here]. Anyone remember what it was called, or the link? ta

Paul Watson wrote: It is pretty bad IMO Yep - it bites. I have in my hot little hands a new text indexing and searching component that I hope will make the search better. I've not even unwrapped it so no promises - but it's gotta be better than what we currently have. cheers, Chris Maunder

Didnt they tell you that you have to open the package and may be even install *gasp* the tool to make it work? Ahh, you should sue them. :-D :-D :-D But, definitely, it can only be better (even uninstalled)!

Is the new component custom written or a third party component?

It's a 3rd party. I have officially given up the belief that writing everything myself is the One True Path to happiness. Embrace third party components people - the vendors have spent way more time on their stuff then you will ever be able to afford to. cheers, Chris Maunder

I think if CP needs one improvement, it's an improved search engine.
