I don't think you can equate the gullible and stupid ignoring 21st Century knowledge, reason, science and common sense to be taken in by this nutjob with someone having ADHD.

I don't want to mock them, I'm genuinely angry at what has happened. The cult-leader created a "Scientific" "proof" based on some way-out numerology (that didn't end with him drilling holes into his head when he realised the meaning of the value of pi, sadly) and he took in a large number of people. This nutter has effected a great many lives with little comeback. To compound the problem, it has increased the Christian bashing, which there is already way too much of in the first place IMO.

Part of me hopes they sue Hardold Campest & his snakeoil religion emporium out of existance, part of me is angry at them for being so gullible. The only upside is that it is likely that only the stupidest did this, hopefully this will improve the genepool as they can no longer compete with the less gullible. Good of the evangelicals to provide us with a demonstration of Darwinism!

If they are so dim as to think that religion is for real then let's hope the ensuing poverty makes them realise how it is that the stupid and gullible are captured by these cults (All Religions are Cults).

As I understood it, those who dedicate themselves to spreading the word would be 'taken up', the rest left for apocalyptic gruel. With that in mind (and believing there will shortly be no need for money), giving to the poor actually does not make sense. The thing is, these types of people can be convince to "drink the Kool-Aid" and also, to distribute it to others. I find it comforting not living anywhere near a church.

Terminal stupidity is not the same a s ADHD, I have no compunction mocking any idiot who would believe this evangelistic twat, he even has a track record and they STILL believe him. I have a low opinion of any religion and this guy epitomises the reason for that.
