Windows market share has reached 88% for the first time in some years, Mac is growing to 5+% What do you think about that? In my opinion Windows is an excellent OS ruined by companies who can't really program something decent. Mac is trying to limitate damages noob programmers could make Anyway a frequent reason I hear is "My mac needn't to be formatted, Windows Pcs do" or "Mac never get viruses, Windows always do" I do not totally agree with that.. I'd like to read some of your opinions

You mean, like Microsoft? I recently had someone regale me with all the bugs in Microsoft Office Word. He uses a Mac. ;) Marc

Every OS has bugs, linux isn't excluded from this statement neither is mac Surely there's a larger win bugs database at secunia than mac's but this is linked to the market share too

I think the excitement behind Mac's has something to do with iPhones and iPads. Another reason may be the price drop and of course, the design is what Mac machines are know for.

Why do you need our help to form your prejudices? You ought to be able to misinterpret statistics of this type all by yourself, in different ways to suit the circumstances of the situation you are in at the time. They are both meaningful and meaningless as are the 'reasons' that you hear.

Depends on the target audience. If it's people who don't really need to do anything important, then yes. If it's for business purposes, then no, since no business with a brain will depend on a sole-source product. ;P

I've read it again and regret to say that your OP does not in any way lead to the question

Struggling with English, and a mind that is not mature enough to form a sensible question maybe!

One word misspelled and everything to crap. You're quite boring with your "overmature" minds (maybe time for retirement). Got it: can't get a decent answer here. I'll go stackoverflow where people don't kill their time by pissing off with grammar. Thanks to the few who have answered properly, the others are just silly.

Actually I think it is your sentence structure that is the problem, spelling is a minor issue, you have a tendency to leave out words that would clarify your question.

Errors in your OP made it very difficult to read and that always opens you to humour/ridicule/grammar pedants. I just thought it was a silly subject that has been thrashed to death for the past 20 years.
