I think the excitement behind Mac's has something to do with iPhones and iPads. Another reason may be the price drop and of course, the design is what Mac machines are know for.

Why do you need our help to form your prejudices? You ought to be able to misinterpret statistics of this type all by yourself, in different ways to suit the circumstances of the situation you are in at the time. They are both meaningful and meaningless as are the 'reasons' that you hear.

Depends on the target audience. If it's people who don't really need to do anything important, then yes. If it's for business purposes, then no, since no business with a brain will depend on a sole-source product. ;P

Actually I think it is your sentence structure that is the problem, spelling is a minor issue, you have a tendency to leave out words that would clarify your question.

Well, my Mac has had to be reformatted, twice, has applications crash, often, and I saw my first virus not so long ago and am looking to see the floodgates open soon. The Mac is a far better user experience, Windows 7 is a far safer, more mature, more resiliant OS. They both have their places, but if I want to run lots of mobile apps I'll choose an iPhone. If I want to ensure I can run any desktop app I could think of using, I'll use Windows.
