Thousands of people have been "ejected" from the beautifulpeople.com dating site because they are too ugly. For a brief period of time, it appears that some hideous trolls thought they were beautiful because they were allowed to register. Sadly, for them, the ugly fairygodmother has made a reappearance and they are off the site[^]. My favourite line: "We got suspicious when thousands of new members were accepted... many of whom were no oil painting"

Even "Beautiful People" need a shot of penicillin now and then! What a completely obnoxious service. I'm so tired of hearing "Beautiful People" whine that they never get dates because they are too lovely for regular people to approach. They should try being a short, fat, bald, gray bearded 45 yo programmer ffs! :sigh: OK rant over! :-D

No need to take rejection badly Pete........... :) So the rumours are that it was a 'virus' that allowed these people to originally sign up. So, Sony gets 'hacked', and 'beautifulpeople' get a 'virus', see, even being hacked isn't good enough for them!

I wonder if they use the Melanie Safka[^] song, "Beautiful People". :)

I don't. I rejoice in my ugliness - it lets me keep a clear mind, and the beautiful ladies let you talk to them because they think you can't possibly think you're good enough for them. :-D

In my younger, fitter days, I went out with a "beautiful people" girl. She was seriously attractive, and incredibly irritating. She was obsessed with her hair and her tan - so much so that she fell asleep on a sun lounger and ended up very badly blistered. After about a week and a half, I'd had enough - it was great having your mates admiring the fact that you were going out with a beautiful girl, but the lack of any interest in anything other than soap operas and herself was a huge turn off. Ironically, I ended up marrying her best friend who was really interesting and attractive.

..not as obnoxious perhaps as sugardaddy.com or whatever it is - a site where rich men can find the perfect gold-digging companion. Now, that's shallow.

Nah, I'm bettin' they use the Marilyn Manson song, "The Beautiful People". The 'the' makes it seem superior, and you know how all those pretty girls love heavy rock.

Exactly the sort of site that attracts people who think they are something they aren't: wonder if a site for ugly people would have the opposite problem: "sorry, you're far too good looking to use our site". I don't think so.

I dated a model of some-repute in years past; she worked Paris and London fashion week that level. Abso-frakin-mazing to look at, but a completely hollow shell. Thank-you, but no thanks. When I met Mrs Wife, she was refreshingly wonderful. Naturally beautiful - she rarely uses more make-up than mascara - seriously intelligent - degree and brace of masters - wonderful [content != KSS] and to top all this SHE LOVES ME! Pig, this is shyte. Are you happy now? :-D
