...is a bit shit. Seriously. Ancient repeats, Jeremys Kyle and Springer, Antiques and Cooking. Not one decent film. No wonder the world is dumbing down... Example..."My boyfriend had sex with my mother" or "I want to be a woman". In the name of the Vampire Zombie, could we have something more illuminating?

You should complain to the BBC... but be prepared for an increase in TV license costs... and all just to keep you entertained... can you feel that power surging though you

If you switch to QVC I think they sell a 1,000,000 Candlea Torches* :) * Flashlights for our cousins accoss the pond. One of the few examples where they get it wrong IMO.

The word 'torch' could create confusion if you are actually talking about a real torch (stick w/fire). On our side of the pond, we eliminated that confusion.

Okay I get the vampire but what is the zombie from? The same movie/tv? - note I have not watched any of the vampire/werewolf movie/tv shows. I see all sorts of zombie this and zombie that even bumper stickers. I know I have my head in the sand, but you would think with so much about zombies I would have noticed.

Oh, I don't know, there are some good programs on TV. Mainly BBC documentaries and science programs. Top Gear is fine if you're a 'petrol-head'.

he's referring to Jesus, although for maximum snarkage it really should be cannibal vampire zombie. The vampire part comes from transforming wine into blood, the zombie part from the resurrection.

I find that TV in general has become overly stupid, but I agree, some programs are entertaining, educating, some are both. I like Top Gear, it's a top quality program, but still just a waste of time :)

You're quite right, it is a waste of time in the productivity sense, however, I don't mind wasting some of my time now and then. In fact, I think it's to be recommended!
