A few months ago, I met a girl on the internet. We chatted and played online games. I slowly began to love her. I think I deeply fell in love with her. But I am a very shy boy. Yesterday I plucked up courage. Made her to go to cafe with me on this Saturday. I was a little nervous. After all, this is my first date with girl. I know that the first date with the girl, should give her a good impression, so I need have to dress up. I deliberately bought a few pieces of clothes. But I do not know which one to choose. I am worried if I dress badly, she won't love me. 1. part one 2. part two Can you give a advice ?

Are you an ex-Marine who served in Vietnam? If not, scratch the first one. It's an insult to veterans and Marines, and that lot you definitely don't want to piss off. The second one is merely tacky, but possibly acceptable, given the slovenly ways of young people around the world today. While what you wear will depend on where you're going and what you're doing, I'd suggest that you try to dress like an adult, unless she's into some weird fashions herself. Start simple. Pick a shirt in a solid color; one that has a collar that folds down. Add a pair of casual slacks (not polyester, if you can avoid it) in a complementary color. Shoes should be leather, have laces, and not sport a logo for an offshore sweatshop. Wear a belt, tuck in the shirt, and leave the underwear inside. Dress in a manner that tells her that you want to look good enough to deserve her, and to honor her by impressing any of her friends that might see you together. And keep in mind - no matter how you dress, it won't make her love you. She'll love you, or not, because of how she feels when she's with you, and there's a whole lot of factors in that equation that you will never know. What you say, how you say it, how you carry yourself in public and in private, how you interact with others, the degree of courtesy and respect you pay to her, her friends, her parents, and a half million other things neither you nor she will be conscious of will be evaluated. The outcome only time will tell. As a man who spent half his life crippled by terminal shyness, I can tell you that your best course is to be yourself, but you won't listen to that. You'll be so worried that you might screw up that you'll probably screw up. But that's okay... she might just realize that you're a great guy who's scared to death that he might make a mistake, and she just might find it endearing. Put on your best face, crank up your courage, try to be just you, and let things flow where they will. Have a fun time, relax as best you can and see to it that she has fun, too. That won't guarantee that she'll love you, but it will probably get you a second date. :-D

You need to collect the testicles of several wild animals. Doesn't really matter which animals, bears, tigers, dogs, pretty much any mammal will do but you'll need about 10 balls. Crush them up and split the juice into two parts. Drink one half 30 mins before the date and apply the rest as a cologne.

I've tried that with mixed results. Sometimes I could only catch mice and squirrels - that didn't work out so good. But the goats... :-D

I pull out ANY t-shirt/shirt, and ANY jeans/trousers and wear them daily (whether to work, or to a date). I cannot believe someone seeking fashion advice from me. But even by my tastes, both shirts you've chosen look bad. I know I'm not helping here, but this isn't a C++ programming question, so what would one expect from me? :)

Yeah, I hear what you are saying, but if she's really going to not like you purely because of a shirt (assuming that the shirt is clean and ironed, no inappropriate slogans etc)... I have met girls who essentially admitted that they wouldn't date anyone who wore less than an Armani suit and had a gold rolex... there are words for girls like these!!

I don't think so, if I understand your meaning. They are for a particular product on a particular page. I think they'd have to get site traffic out of their server logs to figure out that they've got a lot of hits from CodeProject. The person who posted it; 2 posts total. One here and one in another forum with exactly the same wording except for the names of the links. Member since July 25. And this is how he introduces himself to a new forum? Not very typical behavior. Something about the wording made me suspicious. Anyway, now that I'm writing this reply, I've done a search on the phrasing and there are 12 more posts just like it; answer.yahoo.com, planetxbox360, psx-scene, and so on. Interesting. Same two links to the same two garments.

  That's certainly possible. Nobody has ever claimed that Marketing people are smart, though there have been several Marketing campaigns intended to sway opinion on that matter. To the best of my knowledge, though, none of those campaigns was successful, except among the extremely gullible, and Marketing executives.

clean underwear to start.... Append; Now that's been said. the 1st shirt. It's a Casual date, she's gamer girl and likely likes you for your personality in game ( which, if your like me, is you outside of game.. minus the tanking and DPS spirit). 2nd shirt is too redneck ( or "outlaw coder" (cheap shot)) if you will. As for "love", you have to "level up" to that. show her your feelings and "be" the guy for her by personality and charm/mez (and I don't mean 1hd crushing weapons). Yes am a bitta gamer as well. Have a good date man :)
