No, apparently Roland made a decision. Read here:
thx for all the kind words and i really appreciate it but i wont be changing my mind.
And cant go into all the reasons but jst know that the decision wasnt taken lightly and i can handle some insults but when ppl ring ur house and email ur work then its to far.This[^] story grabbed my interest for some reason (safe for work unless the url isn't where you are). Now the story talks of the actress wearing pasties to cover her bits whilst filming. I assume that this is some use of the word pasties that I am unfamiliar with, because I have to tell you a nude woman covered in pasties is the stuff my dreams are made of.

Have you noticed though, when you click Gallery on the website, the first picture shown is Jade (#2) and she has 250 Final in the top of the picture of the gallery, keep scrolling through the pages and then you get to page 11, and guess what there is Roland, without a 250 Finalist flag on the picture. Click on his image and his public vote position is #1 Its a FIX!

I don't know why she just wasn't nude in the first place. She has done nudity before in the movie Alpha Dog[^] (Great movie, by the way.)

Yeah he voluntarily pulled out it seems. Besides, after a quick glance at the T&C for the competition the top 250 from the internet voting get whittled down to 50 by a panel of judges, and then that 50 down to 10 by another (the same?) panel of judges. So Roland would never have made it all the way through anyway. All that's really happened is that instead of looking through hundreds of models themselves, they made everybody else do all the hard work and did a whole bunch of advertising at the same time. Clever eh?
