Yeah, this Roland[^]. He's still the #1, and the voting has closed, does this mean I'm going to see Roland's face on every Next store? :-D
Have you noticed though, when you click Gallery on the website, the first picture shown is Jade (#2) and she has 250 Final in the top of the picture of the gallery, keep scrolling through the pages and then you get to page 11, and guess what there is Roland, without a 250 Finalist flag on the picture. Click on his image and his public vote position is #1 Its a FIX!

This[^] story grabbed my interest for some reason (safe for work unless the url isn't where you are). Now the story talks of the actress wearing pasties to cover her bits whilst filming. I assume that this is some use of the word pasties that I am unfamiliar with, because I have to tell you a nude woman covered in pasties is the stuff my dreams are made of.

I don't know why she just wasn't nude in the first place. She has done nudity before in the movie Alpha Dog[^] (Great movie, by the way.)

Apparently he's not the Roland[^] who died in the Battle of Roncevaux Pass[^] before being immortalized in "song"[^] either. :laugh:

Yeah he voluntarily pulled out it seems. Besides, after a quick glance at the T&C for the competition the top 250 from the internet voting get whittled down to 50 by a panel of judges, and then that 50 down to 10 by another (the same?) panel of judges. So Roland would never have made it all the way through anyway. All that's really happened is that instead of looking through hundreds of models themselves, they made everybody else do all the hard work and did a whole bunch of advertising at the same time. Clever eh?
