ha ha, zing! nope certainly not me. only thing. only thing I did that year was take apart systems, and fixed things, database stuff. only internet thing I did was write information about the internet as a report for extra grades in 98. I don't blame the guy though David, I remember when c sharp first came out, recruiters were asking for 5-10 years for it.

http://www.leffingwell.com/[^] A great example of the "we've got to cram everything on the first page" school of webdesign.
That sucks monkey spadge.

It is defiantly functional though, I mean who is going there but developers, the info is easy to find. And it also looks to me as if it's owner is legit trying to help people and coded it himself. I really find it hard to flame him to bad.
I was thinking 'defiantly' was a malapropism, but then I read it again. And seriously, I've seen sites that make that look like the STANDARD of web development. Use Google. If you don't value your sanity, that is.

http://www.databaseanswers.org/[^] I know yesterday we flamed a design company's website for being unusable, but at least it was 'kinda perty'. This one is probably difficult for the colorblind / impaired.

This is nothing. I once found a library website that was, without a doubt, the ugliest site I had ever seen. Probably written back in 1995 and never changed. It was even formatted for 640x480. I wish I still had the link...I mean, the moment I saw it I literally screamed. :omg: :wtf: X| I still haven't fully recovered from it...
The world is going to laugh at you anyway, might as well crack the 1st joke! Have you tried turning it off and on again? Have you tried forcing an unexpected reboot?

http://www.aatishonhill.com/ - it's got blinking, marquee, multicolored fonts, a background that is repeated for no apparent reason. It's like someone saw a geocities parody and said "That's what I want for my restaurant!"

Haha, man I would 5 you twice, just because I looked again and noticed "Well Come To"

Damn, now I'm hungry! I love how all of the reviews are from 1997-2003, and the site hasn't been updated since 2004. Is it still open? Have they never raised their price?

Wow! It's updated for current movies. I figured it was a defunct site.

That's bad, but I could give an example of a worse one that is actively used. I won't though, because it's an adult-oriented website (though not of the variety that teenage boys would be seeking). Sidebar: It is not easy to come up with a euphemism that is kid-sister friendly...
I don't claim to be a know it all, for I know that I am not...
I usually have an answer though.

I hope this wasn't a euphemism sneaking in.

Indeed, reason I bookmarked it  Although I am not sure I want to take advice of someone who builds such ugly websites... Nah, it is actually not THAT bad (I've seen worse) :)
It's an OO world.

OK, I design internal web sites, and I don't see anything wrong with databaseanswers.org, except for possibly the colors. The site is a whole lot more functional than many other professionally designed sites I've had to work with. So, when you say something is ugly, please be more specific. Maybe we could even suggest to the webmaster to fix it.
