2000 pound coin. I've got a jar in front of me with [guesstimate] £10 in coppers, I'm sure I'll find an early 70's in there too.

How long is bullet good for? Does it expire at some age?
It's good until it's used. Depending on its use, I can get as many coins as I want - to buy more bullets.

Wow! Just think if you could somehow track the history of that coin since it came from the mint.

1980 cent and 1980 quarter are the oldest in my pocket. Oldest I own is an 1856 cent. Yes, that's "18".

Wow! Just think if you could somehow track the history of that coin since it came from the mint.
Here in the states it's quite surprising what you can find in a handful of change, I still occasionally find pennies from 20's on. They still look very much the same as more contemporary pennies with Lincoln on them. My father is an avid numismatist who exhorts us to always check our change. (but tells us to forego the Canuckian coins... :laugh: )
