Any suggestions on a good gaming headset, I am looking between the £100-£150 mark.

You spelled "gaming" wrong - two different ways (we won't even talk about "betwenn"). (I have nothing else of value to add to this thread.)

And I certainly wouldn't advise looking up gamming in the urban dictionary.

Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

Well, you might not have to spend that much... I use the Logitech G330, which is going for about $40 now. Decent quality, behind-the-head style. Not perfect, but surprisingly good for the price.

There is also no question mark so I don't think an answer is required.

What good is a headset that is somehow worn behind the head? Wouldn't that technically be called a behind-the-headset?

I am currently using the Logitech G35[^], and it sounds very nice, you can hear enemy footsteps and pin point the direction very efficently, due to it's 7.1 channel output. also has inbult soundcard so no need to worry, if your sound card is not 7.1 channel, bit heavy but you will get used to it after some time. fixed the broken link

A noise cancelling microphone? That doesn't sound particularly useful.

Along a similar vein - pilot headsets have sound canceling in the sense that they are voice activated(which is why you have to wear the mic so close to your mouth) - they can be a bit disconcerting at first but you soon get used to them...

Any suggestions on a good gaming headset, I am looking between the £100-£150 mark.

Hmmm, perhaps I should vote to remove this thread - I can't be having my sons see the recommendations.
