Don't be silly. My best friend, and business partner for 7 years was queer. In my youth (when I was only 10 years older than you) I worked as a lighting designer for musical theatre and ballet companies where the vast majority of my co-workers were queer and some were queens. I had a long-term relationship with a woman who was bisexual. If I had a problem with homosexuality, I would have never applied for the job or lasted in it. For all you know, I walk down both sides of the street. It's whiny little boys who make up stories that I disdain. By the way, the reason I deleted my other post was because I can and should do better. I'll let you have the last whine. Bye.

Lemme guess: it took him seven years to finally work up the courage to come out to you. Don't think I didn't notice you ignoring the scientific literature I cited.

pussy.   I would welcome your pointing me to the study that proves that there is a gay gene. (I'm sure that an awful lot of parents would love to be able to test for gayness in the womb in order to rectify the error before it's too late.) Here's a clue: Researchers in this field, those without an agenda, believe that we are born just plain sexual - not homo or hetero. How our sex drive is channeled is a function of nurture at least as much as nature, except in very rare instances of some kind of endocrine malfunction where physiologically the subject is, in the vernacular, a chick with a dick or a stud with no pud.

The expression of homosexuality is diverse and multifactorial and is determined by genetics, influences in the womb, cultural, and environmental factors. Your little attempt to poison the well with your arrogant supposition that anyone who would dare to disagree with your opinion must have an "agenda" is duly noted.

Subject closed[^] The American Teabaggers have gotten in the habit of comparing Obama to to Hitler and are often seen carrying signs depicting the President's face with a little mustache on his upper lip. Like Hitler, Obama is an eloquent public speaker. Clearly the ability to articulate in public equates one with the murderer of 6 million Jews and the general personification of evil. You know who else was a great public speaker? Steve Allen. Or should I say "Steve Hitler." So was that guy you saw give a great toast at a wedding. I bet you didn't realize you were listening to Hitler. :-D

5, not for the example you chose (not that there's anything wrong with that), but for the link to the site. I had never heard of it. The randomly chosen Axl Rose page made me laugh and it's bookmarked for future browsing when I have time.

As someone who has pretty well kept tabs on the movement, from the time they were proudly calling themselves Teabaggers(and I was dying laughing), there are two varieties of Tea Party politicians. One, the stupid ones, the blindly violent, ignorant, and obviously completely not at fault for what any of their rhetoric invokes ones. Two, the unfortunate ones, who thought they could actually accomplish something from a third party, and don't have the good sense to run screaming from the lot of idiots they threw in with. If you're a Tea Partier and you have sane goals, run for the hills and start something else, because the moment someone attached a bunch of tea bags in a corporate board room to protest taxes it was quite over. The tricorn hats with tea bags stapled to them were a bad sign as well.

Since Chris has made it clear that he does not want posts about American politics in SB2. I responded at length to your post in SB1. You are welcome to argue it there. It's probably too late for me to remember the house rules, but whatthehell, I try. BTW: I won't be reading any responses to this post, so if you are actually interested in a discussion rather than the yammer that some folks seem incapable of rising above, you'll have to follow me over there.

Pretty sure that the are hundreds and perhaps even thousands of attributes that are genetic in origin for which there is absolutely no genetic test. Your response would seem to tend to suggest that because such a test does not exist that it means that those genetic attributes are not in fact genetic either.

Ravel is a queer as a three dollar bill - therefore since Michele Bachmann's husband makes his living proving to gays that it's something they can be cured of, he hates her guts. Of course, at 17 and never having lived in the U.S., he actually knows little about American politics and less about Bachmann, but then he doesn't have to.

As you have proved over and over again. However, I have twice been dragged back into this thread after having reenabled get emails. For some reason, I don't seem to be able to ignore insults once I've read 'em. It's a failing, I know. My point is that I was leaving the boy alone and would have continued to do so, if you hadn't stuck your nose in. I am again disabling emails and so you can have the last word knowing that I'll never see it. I have also advised Chris that I think the entire thread should be dumped into the back room. The thread veers back and forth between personal insults (including yours) and discussions of American politics. which sometimes seems to be an Australian national pastime rivaling soccer.

I liked you better when you defended global warming. Now you are out to prove Chris right.

You mean when I attacked it.

Right for deleting my account because I down voted him? Is that how it works? Throw out those who disagree, those who criticise? The only rules I broke were those of the mobocracy. People put those kinds of rules up and I get smashing, Its just the way I am. :)
