It seems that the US is being accused of using these devices in Iraq and Afghanistan. Is it true? Who the hell knows? You would THINK that if this were true, it would reported by the larger news media organizations, but none of them have reported it. I guess it's time to use google maps to see if there are any new glass parking lots in either country.

It doesn't make any sense why we would when we usually have uncontested air superiority that we could drop 20kT of conventional explosives without casualty Although the best use for tactical nukes is for bunker/cave demolition or opening. The explosive power/size makes it more viable.

It seems to me that Russia and/or China would have said something about it if it had actually happened...

Did you really mean it or did I miss the sarcasm. Israel has been using phosphor bombs against the Palestinians and no media ever reported it.

Not true: was heavily reported on the BBC (of course it was: they are quite biased). Not quite so widely reported the other way around: Gaza attacks: Phosphorus bombs hit Israel[^]. The hypocrisy is quite astounding.

I'm sure just about everybody would have said something, even our own media. Some embedded liberal journalist wanting to make a name for himself. Again, we have no reason to. We have adequate test facilities to prove they work. We have not fought an enemy that would require the use of tactical nukes. And it definitely wouldn't be worth the world-wide backlash to use them just because.

Apart from this being impossible because of the political hysteria it’s going to accumulate it’s also useless from a tactical point of view. The nukes are ineffective against infantry and/or tanks and this is what ours solders face there. As you said a precision air strike will be far more effective and clean.

Any source on that John? I would also imagine it would be reported - where did you hear it? EDIT - you sure you're not thinking of Depleted Uranium shells?

I think the first mention of it I saw was on Infowars and they link to an Iranian blog. There are other references on google, but since the titles are all pretty much the same (indcating that aone or more people are simply flooding the net with the story), it's real hard to consider it a viable story.

We used phosphorus fired in Gaza war[^] [A] Member of one of Palestinian groups says bombs fired on Israel contained material collected from shells which hit Strip during Operation Cast Lead. Well, that's O.K. then, merely returning the unused phosphor.

Actually, it was heavily reported on the BBC, followed by much tutting.

Imaging satellites would pick that up, both commercial and government(s). No way to hide that.

No, you re just now saying "against civilian population" and the chemicals aren't banned, only banned against civilians. Also, on the other side of the story, is only Israel expected to follow treaties? Does Palestine?

ok, Israel is using chemical weapons that are banned against civilian use on Palestinian civilians. Does that now make sense to you or should I make it more elaborate. Had I known that you have a reading disability, I would have made it more elaborate in my first post itself.

Now playing by your own rules, this is definitely out of the scope of the original post's topic. If you really need an answer to this question, start a new post about this and I'll be glad to answer.

The conversation started when I said WP wasn't itself banned. You then went on a side tangent about Israel, which is not relevant to my original statement that WP is not banned. You truly are an idiot Shameel. I'm usually quite respectful on here but you started the personal attacks first:

My original post to which you replied was in fact about Israel. You may want to go back and read it again. It was in no way a side tangent. I hope you now realize why I had to make that comment.
