Sharks are in the same category. My point was that the word "only" is technically invalid.

Has this humble pie been born yet?

Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

Any animal that does NOT use an egg for gestation. How often do you eat eggs with the shell on them (assuming you are not a snake)? If an animal is outside the egg, hasn't it been born?

There are several of them - spotted owl, California condor, bald eagle, and they all taste pretty much the same. Just like chicken.

Most people are erroneously replacing your "and" with an "or". To truly satisfy your conditions, we would need something to die, then be eaten, and then be born. All three of those must happen, in that order. "Before it is born" can only be true if a birth will in fact take place at some point in the future. Thus the birth must happen, and the eating takes place before it. Yet it also is required to happen after the death. Therefore, to achieve this, something must be able to first cause (or wait for) an animal's death, then swallow its mother whole[1], then the animal's emergence must happen either inside of, or after passing through, whatever is eating it. This does limit us to species which undergo birth (starfish are out, for instance). Furthermore, it must be a species whose female version can be swallowed whole[2] by at least one other thing[3]. It also limits us to non-immortal animals, or at least animals which go through some period of mortality, however brief, prior to birth. Unfortunately, there seems to be one additional condition, as well: the question asks for "the only animal" that fulfills these conditions. Alas, since there are multiple animals fulfilling those conditions today, we are forced to recognize that there is no practical answer at all. Our only option remaining is to convert the question and its answer into something like a proverb. "Q: What is the only animal that can be eaten before it is born and after it dies? A: The animal which is the only animal ever to be born." Now a question of my own: "What is the only animal that can give me back the last half hour that I inexplicably spent developing a logically accurate answer to this question?" [1] Or, arguably, an egg. [2] Or, arguably, whose eggs can be swallowed whole. [3] It is unclear whether an animal must do the eating, or whether we are using a broader definition such that, say, a black hole could eat it.
