I'm not having a go at you or the quality and value of your work (which is unrelated, because you just write what the company asks for) but isn't it funny how the most worthless software always seems to have the cleanest code. Almost everyone I know has Groove installed, but only because they can't be bothered to take the risk that it will futz up the rest of MS Office if they remove it.

I'm not having a go at you or the quality and value of your work (which is unrelated, because you just write what the company asks for) but isn't it funny how the most worthless software always seems to have the cleanest code. I agree there is not much correlation between the quality of the code and usefulness of the software, but I must also add that very often people just don't discover good software. Take OneNote, for instance - IMHO the best application Microsoft ever made - yet most people who have it installed on their machines never bother to run it and use Outlook, Word or even Notepad to take notes.

I do all my documentation, design, reminders, shopping lists, client notes, etc etc on OneNote - couldn't live without it.

No argument about OneNote -- it not only works brilliantly, but it's actually enjoyable to use.
