    it's actualy +1c right now in Edmonton Alberta Canada. Not that I'm complaining as useually it's below -20C or worse this time of year (think it was last year or year before we hit -40c at the beginning of Janaury). couple days it was even better [ ^] Heard today there was actualy people out on their motor bikes :wtf: Must be politics season, too much hot air. [Append] and yes I do think pollution is part of the cause.

    ///////////////// -Negative, I am a meat popsicle.

      Rule #1 about good weather: You don't talk about the good weather. Now that you have, next week you'll get 12 feet of snow and ice.

          Ditto here in MN. Last year by this time I had 8 foot heaps on either side of my driveway, my back was aching, and the Dome had collapsed[^]. This year (Mid November), my family and I were at chucky cheeses for my sons birthday. As we arrived it began to snow. It snowed quite a bit and some people couldn't make it due to weather. The ride home was terrible (but as expected in MN). I was too tried to go through another year of shovelling mountains around so I purchased a snowblower. Yep. That did it. I now expect no snow for this winter. Course if I did not purchase it my house would likely be an igloo by now.

          Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet.

            I got pictures of snow from last year. it was above the knee. THAT was a good dumping and boy was my city working over time to clear it. we had "snow" mountains, and one mountain (I may have mentioned it) didn't finaly melt till Aug /sept... as much as I like the warm weather ( with great weather, comes short skirts), it's a weird sight and feeling :) [append] also wondering when we'll dip down to -40c again ... :~

              I'm not in Alberta... I'm in Monterrey, NL, México. But I gotta agree with you, I lived here from 2002-2005, and every winter those years was very cold and raining alot, even 2 or 3 consecutive days with non-stop rain; this "winter" during the morning its fresh, afternoon its hot (not too hot though) and chilly at most during the night, and very little rain. I saw the phenomenon in Mexicali, BC, México too. Maybe there's something (bad) happening world wide that we're not being told, maybe that 2012 thing is true.
