Can whomever it was that downvoted my post below (about the cow) please explain why? You are, of course, perfectly entitled to do so but I'd just love to know what it was I said that upset you. Thanks.

You have to watch out for a certain sect of the membership. The sit together with about 40 to a table, microwave rice for lunch and use group think. There are a few hundred thousand of them only one of them but it has multiple accounts and voices it's opinion loudly whenever you eat the sacred animal. I only write this post to see just how many down-votes I will get for speaking the truth.
Need custom software developed? I do custom programming based primarily on MS tools with an emphasis on C# development and consulting. I also do Android Programming as I find it a refreshing break from the MS. "And they, since they Were not the one dead, turned to their affairs" -- Robert Frost

If it has a name/description, would you be more specific as to the sect to which you refer? (really)

You need to get used to being down-voted 'just because'. A rough guess is that some commentators don't realize that less the perfection doesn't require their condemnation. Neither will they learn. I guess it's part of the cost of admission.

Maybe the solution lies in empowering *yourself* to avoid being upset/insulted by simply ignoring every little freakin microdetail about your online reputation? Why do people invest so much self-esteem in what anonymous nobodies on the internet think of them?

It really isn't about the points or the rep (utterly meaningless) - I've posted before on this subject and really don't care about the points. I am, however, genuinely curious as to what goes on in people's minds to cause them to downvote (usually) innocent posts. I was hoping that, for once, the person would have the courage to reveal themselves and the reason - after all, what can I do anyway? Downvote them for having an opinion? Hardly.

No, been here way too long to let it bother me. Points, after all, do not make prizes. :-)

Should I downvote you now or later, for even bringing this up? :~
