It'll take more than bacon to kill me.

BS. It's all a lie. Eating cholesterol has nothing to do with your heart health, nor does it actually affect your cholesterol levels AND your cholestrol level is useless information. While I'd stay away from bacon with added sodium nitrates, the uncured bacon is absolutely healthy for you. Eggs are a very cheap form of protien. The charge that eating cholesterol will raise your cholesterol level makes about as much sense as saying eating too much brocoli will cause it to sprout from your forehead.

Did you ask for that from first person who told you that eggs/bacon/fat/cholesterol was unhealthy? Really.

Elephant no! Way more bacon and eggs than is reasonable for dinner. That's about a pound and a half (stupid imperial system) of bacon for my dinner alone.

That's a bunch! I usually limit myself to a half pound per meal, but only so I can have it again the next meal. I hate having to return to the store for more before the checker's shift is over.

Was my dinner tonight, and I've still got half a slice to go. Much more filling than I thought when I started cooking it.

Total calories = 4295 [ 3517 (650gm of cooked bacon) + 462 (5 eggs) + 316 (4 slices of unbuttered toast)].  The average calorie intake for an adult male is 2500.  Food for thought. :) /ravi

I'd like you to redo the calculations for me Ravi, I had slabs of real butter on each piece of toast.
