I find a lot of these free sites don't like external links to images and other media.

No way is it real, but it's still a neat picture. You don't fool around with people's lives, let alone a high-tech airplane. Any nutjob who would think of doing that wouldn't make it into the Air Force to begin with, and even if they did, after landing they'd face punishment a bit more strict than "grounded for 30 days". --Mike-- I'm bored... If that picture was real, everone standing on the side of the deck would have been swept into the water by the backdraft from the plane and the turbulence from the engines. That would have ended with several serious injuries if not death, and a certain court martial, and a prolonged stay at Ft. Levenworth Military Prison for the pilot (and most likely the weapons officer as well, as the F14 is a two man airplane) /CMH

If it is not real they went to a lot of trouble. Look at the contrails coming off the engine entakes.
