Holly: No, they're from Earth. I hope they've got some spare odds and sods on board. We're a bit short on a few supplies. Lister: Like what? Holly: Cow's milk. Ran out of that yonks ago. Fresh and dehydrated. Lister: What kind of milk are we using now? Holly: Emergency back-up supply. We're on the dog's milk. Lister, staring at his cup of tea: Dog's milk?! Holly: Nothing wrong with dog's milk. Full of goodness, full of vitamins, full of marrowbone jelly. Lasts longer than any other type of milk, dog's milk. Lister: Why? Holly: No bugger'll drink it. Plus the advantage of dog's milk is when it goes off it takes exactly the same as when it's fresh. Lister: Why didn't you tell me, Holly?! Holly: What, and spoil your tea? -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

The expiry date said the 18th and so it should have been fine. I took a big swig and nearly re-painted the walls of my kitchen as I gagged and sprayed it out. Totally off, and it takes hours for the taste of off milk to get out of your mouth. Thankfully I did not swallow. Ugh! And no, it was not dogs milk. Was cows milk.

That'll teach you not to drink from the bottle ;P Actually it's usually the other way round - a carton of milk can smell bad because milk that escaped last time your poured goes off on the outside of the carton, but the actual milk inside is still fine. If you just go by your instant "sniff.. urg - this milk is off" reaction, then you'd end up throwing away perfectly decent milk. did it have lumpy bits? -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

I think they're meant to be working on a movie, but that's one of those things that'll probably never happen.
