Very nice! RE: iPadness, I suppose the same kind of app could be developed for an Android device, so perhaps you mean "the first application I've seen that really made me want a tablet"? /ravi

I suppose Visual Studio could be developed for an iPad, Microsoft Office could be developed for the XBox, and Windows 7 could be developed for my flip phone. What counts is where it actually has been developed. :)

I use PocketBand[^] on my Galaxy(phone), there is a free version, and must say that if this sort of thing had been around 25 years, ago when you had to buy a sequencer as well as a keyboard and synch everything via midi, I would have been a much better musician...

So because you can't change the tones in the app he needs 2 ipads? Impressive vid, must be hard striking the right notes without feeling what you're doing.

Thats given my an idea for a Kinect Theremin, but they are expensive here (more than an XBox in the UK :( ) Perhaps this might be a project for my [hopeful] return to the UK in summer, assuming I can get a job....

I glossed over something like that. From what I understood, they were creating an Express edition, but there was wild speculation that it might not be free because in the old days there were plans to make some old version (2005) of Express non-Free (though it never actually happened).

"Humans are amphibians ... half spirit and half animal ... as spirits they belong to the eternal world, but as animals they inhabit time. This means that while their spirit can be directed to an eternal object, their bodies, passions, and imaginations are in continual change, for to be in time, means to change. Their nearest approach to constancy, therefore, is undulation: the repeated return to a level from which they repeatedly fall back, a series of troughs and peaks.” C.S. Lewis

Thats given my an idea for a Kinect Theremin, but they are expensive here (more than an XBox in the UK :( ) Perhaps this might be a project for my [hopeful] return to the UK in summer, assuming I can get a job....
