That's OK, just wait a while for Office360 Kinect Azure Live Home Premium Starter™®© to come out. :)

It'll never happen. Starters are stopping. From what I've read MS are not planning on releasing an Express version of VS. :((

I glossed over something like that. From what I understood, they were creating an Express edition, but there was wild speculation that it might not be free because in the old days there were plans to make some old version (2005) of Express non-Free (though it never actually happened).

Although something else I read is that there will be an Express version for Metro. A cunning ploy to get everyone to move over? :-D

I did afterwards and felt kinda stupid, but then again: Just because you're from Thailand doesn't mean that you can play chinese instruments, does it? :sigh:

[^] And, no: it's not the "cutting board" video linked-to earlier here on the Lounge. best, Bill
"Humans are amphibians ... half spirit and half animal ... as spirits they belong to the eternal world, but as animals they inhabit time. This means that while their spirit can be directed to an eternal object, their bodies, passions, and imaginations are in continual change, for to be in time, means to change. Their nearest approach to constancy, therefore, is undulation: the repeated return to a level from which they repeatedly fall back, a series of troughs and peaks.” C.S. Lewis

Thats given my an idea for a Kinect Theremin, but they are expensive here (more than an XBox in the UK :( ) Perhaps this might be a project for my [hopeful] return to the UK in summer, assuming I can get a job....

Wow, thanks, now that goes to the top of the list of why I'd want an iPad. best, Bill
