I once heard that men are better at handling short-term stress and women are better at handling long-term stress. Maybe that is part of the reason job strain affects women less.

Well, any reasonably decent woman has a wage-earning man to back her up. Why worry? :-D

Probably true. I find it better to be under a lot of work pressure than having no pressure. If I don't have any work, it feels like I'm under-valued and not appreciated. But at the same time, I find it stressful if house work doesn't get done because I'm late home from work. Fits the description... ;)
Almost, but not quite, entirely unlike... me...

Yeah i think so women are backed up by a man most of the time, so one would wonder why a woman should be worrying.

I also heard that women can multitask and men can't. :)

It may be a subjective impression, but we might also take into account who actually is responsible for creating most stress..
At least artificial intelligence already is superior to natural stupidity
So who creates the most stress? the bosses i think.

yeah probably true, but i also think when a large number of people are included in such research it might show that women and men are not so different after all when it comes to dealing with work stress.
