      I once heard that men are better at handling short-term stress and women are better at handling long-term stress. Maybe that is part of the reason job strain affects women less.

          It may be a subjective impression, but we might also take into account who actually is responsible for creating most stress..

          At least artificial intelligence already is superior to natural stupidity

            Probably true. I find it better to be under a lot of work pressure than having no pressure. If I don't have any work, it feels like I'm under-valued and not appreciated. But at the same time, I find it stressful if house work doesn't get done because I'm late home from work. Fits the description... ;)

            Almost, but not quite, entirely unlike... me...

              Yeah i think so women are backed up by a man most of the time, so one would wonder why a woman should be worrying. :laugh:

                    yeah probably true, but i also think when a large number of people are included in such research it might show that women and men are not so different after all when it comes to dealing with work stress.
