Ex-smokers 'gain more weight than thought'

I put on 8kg when i stopped, and then lost 2 of them. I am now a comfortable 70-72kg and happy with my weight for the first time in my adult life. Smoking sucked.

A very famous neurobiologist proved that many years ago, and counting nerve cells is a hell of a job. Obviously, spinach is high in iron. Everyone knows that. Obviously, condesing a news bite from a general audience publisher to a statement that has nothing to do with the main point of the news bite is an appropriate representation of the value of the underlying study. :grump:

Since I quite I've gained about 25lbs but was always super skinny but would like to turn it into muscle as opposed to the protrusion around the waist.

So, if you want to be uber-healthy, you can: -- Spend a fortune on cigarettes to keep your weight down. -- Spend a fortune on high-protein supplements to get your weight up. Or: -- Quit smoking, and save a fortune in getting your weight up. The best course of action seems pretty obvious, to me.
