Dave KreskowiakThe LinkedIn profile says he's in Cochin (Kochi), checking that out on Wikipedia it says it has a very long Portuguese connection. So my best guess is that he has a very Catholic name (which it is), and I'm betting his parents gave it to him. Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

Exactly how it reads. Though a few people correctly replace it with a "V" if they know already. I don't have to tell anyone about that little rule. I mostly have to tell them "Hey you!" works in place of the last name.
