So I have to deal with these accidental DBAs and DB developers every now and then. Listening to their chatter it seems they are always upbeat and savvy about the latest SQL Server. Today I chanced upon the actual code written by one of these creatures. Took me a 20 min yoga session to cool down my boiling blood. I mean, how the f*** in the world do you write such lame code when you have the latest and the greatest software with power packed features. Even if I forgive your illiteracy, I will never EVER forgive your lack of hygiene. No indentations , no comments at all? Burn in hell :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I came to the conclusion developers like that are trying to implement security trough obfuscation. X|

Common sense is admitting there is cause and effect and that you can exert some control over what you understand.

Should see some of the code I worked with when I was still working VB. A manager did not like objects because thought took too much time. Methods were 1000's of lines long. Every string was stored as a constant...

While your at it you can burn the inventor of SQL/PL as well. Business logic in a DB? I don't know why they don't just become MS Access developers. ;)
