I don't understand what you mean when you say "Elephanting Spotify". WTH does that mean? Anyway, what app is doing this?

If it's not broken, fix it until it is

'Elephant' has become the CP substitution for a certain word for carnal actions that is deemed non-KSS. You'll also see 'sunshine' which is a replacement for a different rude word.

Oh oh oh. Now I get it. His OP was "Elephanting Spotify: Stop stealing window focus to pop up an ad for sh***y beer (miller) while I'm typing into Visual Studio. RAAAAAAAAR!" I knew what Elephanting meant, having slowly figured it out over time. So I naturally thought Spotify was another substituion for some app he's using. Didn't realize Spotify WAS the app. Sometimes I come into the lounge, see a posting, and think, "WTH are they talking about???" I felt like I walked into the middle of a conversation.

Generally the various non-KSS nouns, where elephant is used in place of verbs. At least, that's what I've noticed.

So the sentence "Spotify is and elephanting piece of sunshine" would be correct?

Of course not, that "and" should be "an" ;P (But yes, otherwise it would, "piece of" can also be optionally omitted.)

'Sunshine' comes from a gaffe on the weather forecast here in Britain (I think it was the Scottish one) where the presenter got confused between 'sunshine' and 'countryside'.
