Given this last post is about speeding with cars, this vanishing is no good news.
I doubt he would have been able to deactivate his account then. I wonder if he got reported 'For Abuse' and his account automatically got deactivated?

Current CP MVP, member since 2001, but his profile [^]seems to have been deactivated. Last activity was http://www.codeproject.com/Lounge.aspx?msg=4262393#xx4262393xx[^] , as far as I can see.

This also happened to Nish recently. CP was/is using a 3rd party service to flag spam. Clearly it isn't working too well. Chris said he was going to can them. /ravi

The hamsters did it. Do accounts get automatically disabled if the users don't use them for a long enough period of time ?

Two and half months hardly seems like a long enough period. I've had stretches without logging in for probably four months...
The United States invariably does the right thing, after having exhausted every other alternative. -Winston Churchill America is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between. -Oscar Wilde Wow, even the French showed a little more spine than that before they got their sh*t pushed in.[^] -Colin Mullikin

Was this part of the automatic univoter scheme?

Quite strange indeed? I would think if it would have been deactivated by the service he would have had it reactivated. And if something happened to him he probably would not have had the ability to deactivate? ???

Believe me, it is working well. (if its algorithm is based on univotes)
I think this was a different service (i.e. it looks at post content). Nish may have more insight into it, as he was directly affected. Busterboy...? /ravi

Yeah, Chris was trying out a 3rd party service that tried to figure out if a post was spam. But it was of extremely poor quality and seemed to mark a post as spam merely for having a link in the content. He's disabled it now as far as I know.
