I certainly hope so - I remember when the US still put men on the moon, having a stack of "Vi Flyr" in the bookshelf, and a lot of other intriguing stuff that fired our imagination - and got many of us interested in science ...

We usually talk about hings that everyone can comprehend, witch limits us in many circumastances. Everybody understands that putting a man on hte moon is kind of a big deal, but try to explain some hugh programming algoritm that you just have design you'll quickly find yourself stuck :) This would perhaps be true in the future too, as the overall scores from schools are not exactly brilliant. Like the discussion on TV shows that are popular earlyer today, I mentioned that genius had limitations wile stupidity dont :) Meaning you could make a fortune being a complete idiot, but often not as a genius (true in past times as well, artist, mathematicans, etc) :) Perhaps social media and shows like Big Brother etc. is relly dumming down people :)

While that's true, it's less commong than winning the lottery, which is why they make such big headlines when they do, as it gives truth to the lie that it could happen to everyone. Everyone can't win the lottery, but some do.

Yes, it's lots, and lots, and lots of paper - but at least you have to think things through - and hopefully you're able to squeeze in a bit of research too, as part of the process.
