just finished watching this movie. This is one of the strangest films I have ever seen. It is sharp satire mixed with B movie mixed with invasion movie, with added Nazis. Well worth watching.

Yep, it's a great movie (okay, a biased opinion :)) and if you haven't already seen it, I also recommend Star Wreck[^].

There was something very annoying about the movie, but I can't put my finger on it. The acting? the characters ? the casting ? I don't know. The idea was really fun, but the result was a little bit lacking.

Watched code never compiles.

Considering it was made for 7.5 million euros, (Wiki[^]) I was amazed it was as good as it was - I've seen much worse films come out of Hollywood. Anything with Nicolas Cage for example. And the budget for the whole of Iron Sky probably wouldn't even get him out of bed...which would vastly improve most of his films. It was a good film, in a "take your brain out" way - but you knew you had to do that from the posters and trailers! :laugh: I'm looking forward to the promised prequel and sequel.

Nice idea but marred by bad (actually atrocious) acting, ridiculous plot artifacts and the pacing was like an old-time waltz: slow, slow, quick quick, slow! Not to mention the poor physics, poor logistics, poor... never mind. All they needed was to have a big musical number in the middle somewhere and it would have been complete! Complete junk, that is. It was trying so hard to be a black comedy but utterly failed to be funny. I feel I wasted a couple of hours of my life watching this cr'p. I do NOT recommend it at all - it was too bad for words so I'll shut up now.

Was mostly fun, but I thought the ending was a bit weak. Awesome Inglorious Bastards spoof in the PR company though. I wish more B movie sensibility would creep back into films. Charactor development is for chick flicks.
