Hey CPians. I'm starting a tech company. (As it turns out, the whole internet radio thing[^] has actually made me some money.) I need help naming this company. Here are some names I've been mulling over:

    • Digital Synapse
    • BitShuva
    • Got a better one?

I'm looking for a name that's playfully related to tech, short, memorable, and bonus points if there's a hidden meaning. Do you like either of these names? Got a better one?

BiblicalBytes? Assuming your music relates to Christianity. Or Songs4Soul?

Glass Orchid :) Always liked the sound of that, but in the end as homage to William Gibson I named my company Virtual Light. What a nerd.

Right, BitShuva has hidden meaning, tshuva is Hebrew for returning [to God/goodness]. Plus the obvious tech meaning in "Bit". I'm looking for a name for the company that will provide internet radio. Not necessarily tied to my religious radio station, Chavah. For example, I have a few clients already, all secular: PrairieAsunder, HmongRadio, iNaija, and an upcoming UsoundRadio. So, the company name doesn't necessarily need to tie back to religion. But I do like the hidden meaning of BitShuva. :-) Thanks for the feedback.

I would avoid a religiously coupled name. You might loose potential customers. But then again, you might not want those as customers anyway. Your call.

The company does music for secular radio stations as well. I have a few clients already, all secular.

Yep. I don't mind names with hidden meanings. BitShuva doesn't sound religious, but it has a hidden meaning, aside from the obvious tech connection.

...but I do like your thinking. If I was providing only Judeo-Christian music, I'd consider those.
