Presidential library burned.

WASHINGTON D.C. (REUTERS)-- Early this morning a devastating fire burned down the personal library of President George W. Bush. Tragically, both books were lost in the conflagration. More poignantly, The President, due to his hectic schedule, had not found the time to colour in the second one. Rob Manderson http://www.mindprobes.net

Repost, and bad timing. Even a dufus like GWB needs a reprieve from the pundits on the day he meets with the relatives of the lost astronauts. Marc Help! I'm an AI running around in someone's f*cked up universe simulator.

Just reading your message title, I thought someone burned down President Clinton's library and how they would find some way to keep the money.

I'm sure every one of the lost astronauts would say that Rob has a right to criticize whenever and however he chooses. I'm not talking about taste here, I'm just talking about Rob's right to free speech. I suppose, according to you, we should also be gentle on Dubya on his birthday, maybe Christmas too? Gimme a break. With a President as stupid as Dubya, I think everyone should pitch in with more Dubya jokes. Maybe when we're laughing, we won't think of what an idiot he is.

Okay he's probably one of the worst orators we've had in office for at least 20 years, though I personally see no cause to accuse him of excessive stupidity... but that's beside the point... I will take him and worse any and every day of the week over a man with no moral character and no conscience and no self control or respect for his office. Regarding your response: 1. the author's right to free speech was not questioned 2. instead, the focus is on his lack of tact or taste 3. censorship would be deleting the original post, attacking free speech would be to suggest he can be arrested or persecuted for it but most importantly... that really WAS funny :) (our disagreements can be good-natured, can't they?)
