UPDATE: I just hit the error as well. :doh: I am guessing there is some kind of glitch with MSDN servers.

The odd thing is that, for me, the url is consistently leading to the error page, while it seems most people have no problem at all.

Nope, not seeing anything wrong! I too read your first post, looked at the linked page and wondered what you were on about, then started reading the other messages in the thread. Then it dawned on me............you are simply having a senior moment! :-D

My point was that "Program Files" is supposed to be for nominally read-only things like DLLs, config files, etc. A spell checker will be subject to update ("add to dictionary") and so the libraries should be in "Program Data" not "Program Files".
