        That used to be a favorite prank: take a screen shot of an application, make it someone's desktop, and then watch while they try and force it to exit.

          Only one way to avoid it: Don't post screenshots, post the real thing instead.

                                I did that on a computer in high school. Took the student and the programming teacher half an hour to figure it out. :laugh:

                                  Actually, to clarify, I didn't take a screenshot of an application. I took a screenshot of the desktop with all its icons, then moved all the icons into a single folder, and set the screenshot as the background.

                                    Or when a research scientist (chemist) rings you up to take a look at her PC because it's broke only to find out she's been clicking on the link in a screen dump stuck on an email and it's not working. Oh, and I'm not the IT staff, I'm just a research engineer in the software group and therefore I must know everything about computers, and have the duty to fix everybody else's PCs... :~
